York Cycling Club isn’t just about cycling, it’s about community. With loneliness affecting two-thirds of teens, the club’s goal is to create a welcoming space where young people in York can meet new friends, stay active, and feel part of something bigger.

The approach

Research & Strategy

Competitor research with cycling clubs and community groups to pinpoint what makes York Cycling Club unique.

Wireframing & UX

Sketching out low-fidelity wireframes helped map out user flows that felt intuitive.

Building the Brand

Taking a bold, modern spin on Yorks history, I designed high-energy visuals like badges, banners, and membership cards.

Website Development

Designed in Figma and developed in Webflow, the site is built for easy navigation, mobile responsiveness, and to be easily built upon in the future.

The outcome

With the final design, it was important to emphasise York Cycling Club’s core values - community, adventure, and inclusivity. The design encourages engagement, simplifies membership, and brings the clubs bold and energetic vibe to life.
